the vegetarian festival in phuket thailand…they have cheek piercing ceremonies there =)
Budapest, Hungary. You can still see the effects (damaged buildings from bombings, ect) of WWII and Stalin's regime. Also, you can still go into the prison cells where they held people during the Communist regime. It really makes you realize how lucky you are.
Pyramids - Egypt
Neuschwanstein Castel - Germany
Kostnice - Czech Republic
Great Wall - China
Dome of the Rock - Jerusalem
Independence Hall and The Liberty Bell - Philadelphia, Pa.
The Roman Colosseum or the Forum, The Vatican-including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica, Machu Piccu, Sydney Opera House, The Duomo in Florence, Versailles in France, The Parthenon in Greece, The Pantheon in Rome, The Hagia Sophia, The Blue Mosque in Iran, The Wailing Wall in Israel, etc..
The US, you have Yellowstone, The Grand Canyon, The Empire State Building, etc..
I am partial to Italy, but there are too many interesting sites to list here.
So you're the one that's been taking them, you just stop that.
All the ideas they are giving you are great but Africa is not a country, it is a continant. Safaries happen in Kenya and Tanzania.
